Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students:
We are looking forward to welcoming your student back to Hazen Union School on Monday, August 29, 2011. You should have received a packet of information in the mail containing information your student will need for the first day. Schedules for high school students were mailed in the information packet, while middle school students will be receiving their schedules from their teachers on the Monday. Also, a student planner will be provided to all students on the first day of school outlining expectations, procedures, and conduct codes for all students. For the first time last spring, students were given math packets to work on over the summer. Students are reminded that the expectation is that they return the completed packet to their math teacher on the first day of school. Please contact the school if you have misplaced the packet and need another. Students enrolled in the GMTCC programs should plan on going to the technical center on Monday at the regular time. The bus leaves from Hazen at 7:40 AM. The faculty and staff at Hazen Union School will be working very hard, every day, to create a positive, and welcoming school climate for all students. We want to make strong connections with students, offer them an engaging curriculum, and help them to develop and grow into responsible and respectful human beings. See you soon!
