Around the World in 15 slides...


You just won the PowerBall megabucks lottery and you are off to travel around the world…

Your job is to create a PowerPoint presentation of at least 15 slides. Your presentation will be a travel journal of your trip. You are going to tell us in pictures, maps, comments, etc. how your trip progressed as you bounced around the world and back to Vermont.  You should use pictures, graphics, etc. and data/information to convey your message.  

You will present this to class, so make it fun and interesting…


Your presentation must have the following elements:
  • A background design on each slide.
  • Animated graphics on at least 5 slides
  • An animated map between locations
  • At least 5 different “PhotoShopped” images of you.
  • At least one graphic element on each slide.
  • Transitions for each slide.
  • Notes for each slide
  • At least one video relevant to your journey


Your presentation will be graded on the following criteria:  (60% of your grade)
  • Presentation:  use notes, good voice projection, practice!
  • Content:  use fun, relevant information
  • Design Elements:  use sound, design elements, etc…
  • Graphics:  use video, original imagery, etc.
