Behavior Support

The Behavior Support Center is a space in which students process through events or dynamics that present an obstacle to the educational environment. In the BSC, students learn how to respectfully advocate for themselves and maturely take ownership for their choices. If the behavior is serious enough that a consequence is warranted, natural consequences or a restorative process are the preferred responses. However, all of the traditional disciplinary responses (detentions, suspensions, etc) can also be assigned when a student is referred to the BSC.
